JSAC serves as a crucial resource for the DISCBOTS, offering them a dedicated workspace for robot development and secure storage for their materials. Additionally, JSAC plays a vital role by providing essential power tools for the teams. Furthermore, JSAC's commitment extends to hosting a multitude of events and open houses, facilitating team expansion opportunities not only for the DISCBOTS but also for other teams in the community.
Novelis + Ball
Novelis’ corporate mission is to Shape a Sustainable World Together, concentrating on the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education, enhancing consumer recycling efforts, and addressing the urgent requirements of local communities. Novelis extends a wealth of opportunities to the DISCBOTS, enabling their active involvement in events geared toward supporting significant causes. One notable instance is Novelis’s collaboration with BALL, which empowered the DISCBOTS to create a mobile can-crushing machine, affectionately known as the "canbot." Furthermore, Novelis serves as a dynamic hub by hosting numerous events for teams to participate in. These events serve as collaborative platforms, uniting FRC teams to brainstorm innovative solutions for real-world challenges through robotics. Additionally, the DISCBOTS contribute to sustainability by donating recyclable materials to Novelis.
