At the Johnson Stem Activity Center (JSAC), DISCBOTS seizes valuable opportunities to join forces with a diverse array of FTC and FRC teams. Among the esteemed teams we actively collaborate with are EVE Robotics #7514, 100 Scholars Team #3091 (100 Black Men of Atlanta), and Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy Team #9057 (G.I.R.L).

Dr. Lonnie Johnson
Dr. Lonnie Johnson, the founder of JSAC, is an American inventor, aerospace engineer, and entrepreneur with an illustrious career. His journey includes serving in the U.S. Air Force and a twelve-year tenure at NASA, where he contributed significantly at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. On May 5, 2022, Dr. Lonnie Johnson achieved a remarkable milestone by being inducted into the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame in Washington, DC. This prestigious recognition highlighted not only his substantial contributions to science and engineering but also acknowledged his most renowned invention, the Super Soaker water gun.
